EVENT MISSION
This fundraising gala is held annually to fuel positive change through education and raise funds to support our mission of heightening environmental sustainability awareness for the local young generation.
Unlike other fundraising events, IGNITE guests experience the uniqueness of the Balinese culture through an “expect-the-unexpected” journey experience. It is also an evening to showcase our commitment to preserving the ancient Balinese culture by collaborating with locals.
On one evening, IGNITE 2025 unfolded as a shared moment of presence, culture, and connection. Supporters, partners, and friends of Green School Foundation gathered not only to celebrate, but to reflect on our collective role in shaping a more sustainable future through education.
What emerged from the night was a renewed commitment to extending sustainability education into the wider local community. The spirit of IGNITE continues beyond the event, supporting young people to learn from nature, engage with their surroundings, and lead change that is grounded in real-world context and community values.
Guided by Tales of the Shadows, inspired by Indonesia’s Wayang tradition, the evening honored transformation through balance between light and shadow, heritage and possibility. IGNITE 2025 became a reminder that meaningful impact is built through collaboration, culture, and a shared belief in education as a force for lasting change.
The support shared through IGNITE 2025 continues to live on beyond the evening itself. It strengthens sustainability education rooted in community and culture, empowers young people to lead with purpose, and reminds us that when we come together, we ignite change that carries forward into the future.
